American Defender™ personal safety whistles are currently available at our Harvard Square office.  They’re free of charge to members of the Harvard, MIT, and Cambridge communities.  You can choose from brass, chrome, and three colors of plastic.

Our address is 5 JFK Street, Suite 306, which we share with

Harvard Book and Binding Service.  We’re located next door to the Curious George Goes To Wordsworth bookstore, across from the kiosk at the Harvard T station.  The office is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., seven days a week.

Your AMERICAN DEFENDER™ Whistle

helps you aid police in deterring or preventing crime in your neighborhood, or call for help if you’re lost, sick, or injured.

The Defender™ is the exactly same whistle American Whistle Corporation makes for the National Fraternal Order of Police.

The Defender™ can signal your need for help, frighten away someone who means you harm, or alert neighbors to call the police.

WHISTLE DEFENSE

The piercing, distinctive blast of a truly good whistle can scare away attackers and bring people running to a victim’s aid.  Yet a whistle cannot be turned against a victim, as weapons can.

Campuses like the University of Colorado and the University of Illinois have initiated long-term Whistle Defense programs using the American Defender™ personal safety whistle.
